English: In 2022, we achieved our goal of legally protecting 10% of provincial land and freshwater, doubling our protected areas. Today, an additional 167-hectares of land was added to these protected areas at the site of the former Lonewater Farm recovery facility, an area with high conservation value in Grand Bay-Westfield. www2.gnb.ca/.../news/news_release.2024.05.0215.html
En 2022, nous avons atteint notre objectif de protéger légalement 10 % des terres et des cours d’eau douce de la province, doublant ainsi les aires protégées au Nouveau-Brunswick.
