Español: Músico percusionista, solista, orquestal y de cámara, con amplia diversidad en la ejecución de instrumentos de percusión clásica y popular. Es reconocido en muchas ciudades del Perú por su intensa labor como educador, investigador, gestor cultural y productor musical. Actualmente radica en la ciudad de Lima.
Miguel se ha presentado con importantes orquestas del Perú, como: Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional, Orquesta Sinfónica “Ciudad de los Reyes” y Orquesta Filarmónica de Lima, desarrollando desde muy temprana edad una prometedora carrera musical, llevándolo a recorrer diversas ciudades del Perú y, presentado en diversos escenarios internacionales en México, Colombia, EE.UU., Brasil, Venezuela y Paraguay. Actualmente es miembro titular de la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional del Perú y Profesor de Percusión de la Universidad Nacional de Música, en Perú. Como solista, se ha presentado con el Ensamble de Percusión de la Universidad Nacional de Música, la Orquesta Sinfónica del Cusco y la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Perú. Con esta última realizó el estreno absoluto de la “Fantasía para Marimba y Orquesta”, del compositor peruano Jorge Falcón. Fue gestor, en dos oportunidades, del Encuentro Internacional de Percusión de Lima, importante evento musical realizado en la capital del Perú desde el año 2008, y organizado por la Universidad Nacional de Música. Miguel es fundador del Ensamble de Percusión Malletrix, elenco con el que se dedicó a difundir la música académica, jazz, fusión, world music, y música peruana, a través de los instrumentos de percusión de teclado en diversos escenarios de la ciudad de Lima; creó Marimvibes Dúo, proyecto con el cual difunde la música original para el formato de marimba duo, y marimba y vibráfono; y el duo Q’IRUART de marimba y clarinete. Actualmente es artista de las marcas Marimba One y Black Swamp Percussion.English: Percussionist, soloist, orchestral and chamber musician, with wide diversity in the performance of classical and popular percussion instruments. He is recognized in many cities in Peru for his intense work as an educator, researcher, cultural manager and music producer. He currently lives in the city of Lima.
Miguel has performed with important Peruvian orchestras, such as: National Symphony Orchestra, "Ciudad de los Reyes" Symphony Orchestra and the Lima Philharmonic Orchestra, from a very young age a promising musical career, taking him to various cities in Peru and, presented in various international settings in Mexico, Colombia, USA, Brazil, Venezuela and Paraguay. He is currently a full member of the National Symphony Orchestra of Peru and Professor of Percussion at the National University of Music, in Peru. As a soloist, he performed with the Percussion Ensemble of the National University of Music, the Cusco Symphony Orchestra and the Peru National Symphony Orchestra. With the latter, the absolute premiere of the Fantasy for Marimba and Orchestra, by the Peruvian composer Jorge Falcón. He was manager, on two occasions, of the Lima International Percussion Meeting, an important musical event held in the capital of Peru since 2008, and organized by the National University of Music. Miguel is the founder of the Malletrix Percussion Ensemble, a cast with which he dedicated himself to disseminating academic music, jazz, fusion, world music, and Peruvian music, through keyboard percussion instruments in various spaces in the city of Lima; created Marimvibes Dúo, a project with which he disseminates the original music for the marimba duo format, and marimba and vibraphone; and the Q'IRUART duo of marimba and clarinet. He is currently an artist for the Marimba One and Black Swamp Percussion brands. |
