Summary
[edit]DescriptionMiddleton Railway- inside the loco shed (geograph 5099078).jpg |
English: Middleton Railway: inside the loco shed. The main shed of the Middleton Railway, built c.2005, houses all the engines that are in operational condition, and (at the north end) the railway's museum displays. In this view, steam locos are on the left hand track, diesel on the right. Only one is normally in operational use on any one day, so there must be a fair amount of shunting to get one out from the back of the shed. For an outside view of the shed, see this photo. |
