Description |
English: Incomplete Middle Saxon arm of pair of tweezers, loop and part of inturned blade missing. The arm widens very slowly from the top before abruptly expanding to a triangular terminal. Decorated with a delicately engraved contour line along both sides and with seven punched ring-and-dots. A characteristic Middle Saxon form. Extant length 34mm. Maximmum width 16mm. 8th – 9th centuy. |
