Description |
Italiano: È formato da un cilindro in ottone composto da due sezioni di diametro differente. All'estremità di quello più piccolo è posizionato un sistema oculare. Al suo interno vi è un gruppo di lenti opportuamente disegnate la cui posizione può essere regolata assialmente grazie a una manopola posizionata nel punto di giunzione dei due cilindri. All'altra estremità, quella di diametro maggiore, è collocata la lente obiettiva. Qui il tubo si innesta su una flangia a sezione quadrata che serviva per fissare lo strumento ad una opportuna struttura di supporto per mezzo di quattro viti. In strumenti simili a questo, al di sotto della flangia era incernierato uno specchio rettangolare inclinabile utilizzato per riflettere l'immagine del Sole all'interno dello strumento. Nel caso di questo strumento tale parte è mancante.
