Description
English: Flint microburin, almost square in plan and plano convex in profile. The dorsal side has split off centre medial ridging. The distal and proximal ends have been snapped and the left and right margins retouched. The ventral side has visible conchoidal ripples. It appears to be a truncated edged flake.

The flint is translucent dark tan and brown with one area of cream inclusion. It has a high lustre.

Bond (2004) illustrates a similar example on page 119, Fig. 5.103, No. 65 which is dated to the Mesolithic period.
