Title
Microburin
Description
English: Microburin made of pebble flint. The piece has been deliberately snapped at the distal end. On the ventral face there is no retouch but evidence of a notch on the left lateral edge at the distal end. The retouch which formed this notch can be seen on the dorsal face on the right lateral edge at the distal end. A medial ridge runs down the dorsal face. There is step fracturing on the dorsal face at the proximal end.

Butler (2004) illustrates a similar example on page 91, Fig 34, No 5 which dates to the Mesolithic period.
