Description A bronze copy of Michelangelo's famous sculpture of David, in the courtyard at the John Ringling Museum in Sarasota. The original, which is 5.17 m (17 ft) high, is in Florence, Italy, and was sculpted from marble This copy is probably the same size. The sculpture is used as a symbol of the city of Sarasota.
