Description
English: Michael Withey speaking at the book launch for his book Summary Execution, Seattle Labor Temple, March 20, 2018. The book is about the 1981 murder of labor activists Silme Domingo and Gene Viernes. Withey, a lawyer, put his usual practice on hold for about 2-1/2 years to focus entirely on pursuing those culpable for the murders, including but not limited to the assassins themselves, ultimately resulting an a civil verdict determining that Philippine dictatator Ferdinand Marcos was behind the killing.
