Description
English: The Mexican Navy frigate ARM Hermenegildo Galeana (F 202) underway during a passing exercise with the littoral combat ship USS Independence (LCS-2), not visible, following Independence's port visit to Manzanillo, Mexico. Galeana is former U.S. Navy frigate USS Bronstein (FF-1037). Bronstein was commissioned June 1963, decommissioned in 1990, then transferred to the Mexican Navy in 1993 and began active service as Galeana in 2012.
