Description
Deutsch: Mettmann, Düsseltal südlich von Gut Holz (Diepensiepen 9), Holzer Flößwehr. Ziemlich genau in Bildmitte ein Ziegelsteinverbund als Rest der ehemaligen seitlichen Begrenzung/Anbindung des Wehrs, dessen Platz durch den querliegenden Birkenstamm gut markiert ist. Auf die Tiefenerstreckung lassen die davor im Wasser liegenden Bretter (wie in Vergrößerung erkennbar teilweise noch durch Metall-Riegel miteinander verbunden), die zum Schließen des Wehrs benutzt wurden, sowie die großen, sorgfältig behauenen Steine dahinter schließen, aus denen das Wehr aufgebaut war.
