Description
English: 50 Reward.

Woodcut and description of John Edward Ward, a Lieutenant of the Army Hospital Corps, who arrived in London from Singapore via Colombo and Plymouth, in SS Thames, in October, 1882, whose apprehension for Embezzlement and Desertion is desired.
Descriptoin--age 30, heigh 5 ft 9 inches, eyes grey, straight nose, hair (curly) moustache and whiskers light brown, gentlemanly appearance and address, walks erect, a native of Cantebury.
The above Reward will be paid by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, to any person (other than a Police Officer of the United Kingdom) who shall give such information as shall lead to his arrest.

Information to Chief Superintendent Williamson, Great Scotland Yard.
