Description
English: Sunderland station is shared between the Tyne and Wear Metro system and mainline services. The signal half way along the western platform marks the divide between Metro (behind) and Mainline (infront) stopping areas. The train in the distance is a northbound Yellow line Metro service towards Newcastle.
