Description
Found in Bahia in 1784, Bendegó is the largest siderite discovered in Brazil, being more than two meters in length and weighing 5.36 tons. It is constituted by a compact mass of iron and nickel. It is believed that the meteorite fell on Earth 100,000 years ago.
