[edit]DescriptionMet Elec Canal construction, clipped, spots removed, labelled, final.jpg |
English: Multiple drilling rigs were used to drill holes that were subsequently filled with an explosive and a detonator. After detonation, rubble was moved to either the north or south side of the canal. Boulders from the canal were hauled some 1.3 km by horse and cart to build the foundation of the Britannia Pier. |
