  • MESSIRE PIERRE SEGUIER CHEVALIER Chancelier de France, Commandeur des ordres du Roy, Comte de Gien, Seigneur d'Autry, Fils aisné de Jean Seguier, Chevalier Seigneur d'Autry, Lieutenant Civil de Paris, Et de Marie Tudert. Fut premièrement Conseiller au Parlement de Paris, Maistre de Requestes et Président au mortier 1624. Le Roy Louis 13 l'honora de charge de garde des Sceaux de France le 28 février 1633 après le Marquis du Chasteau neuf, puis après le gratifia de Chancelier de France par la mort du Chancelier d'Haligre 1630. Leurs Majestez luy ayant retiré les Sceaux le 1 de mars 1650 les luy rendirent le 8e Avril 1651. Louis 14 devenu Majeur luy osta dérechef les Sceaux pour les donner au Seigneur Molé premier Président au Parlement de Paris, et la liberté d'entrer dans les conseils luy fut laissée. Il a espousé Magdelaine Fabry fille de Jean et soeur de Jean Fabry Conseiller d'Estat ordinaire, et de Marie fille de Philibert vicomte de Pompadour Lieutenant au Gouvernement de Limosin.
