We have received in the first instance, with much satisfaction, the announce-ment of your nomination by your government to represent the interests of yourcountry, and now, at the close of the exhibition, we cannot express too warmlyour gratitude for the manner in which, while legally maintaining these interests,your commission has supported us in our endeavors to promote the general effi-ciency and success of the exhibition.
