Title
Mesolithic microburin
Description
English: A Mesolithic microburin which has been made from a tertiary flint blade.

The sub-rectangular tool has several arises on its dorsal surface and clear rippling on the ventral. The upper edge has a straight break where the blade has been snapped; immediately below this are two diagonally opposing notches, possibly from another attempted snapping. The cutting of the upper notch has resulted in the production of a sharp point. A further notch has been cut at the opposite end to this point. The flint is a translucent light yellowish-brown.

Length: 27.1mm; width: 15.5mm; thickness: 3.3mm. Weight: 1.45g.
