Title
Mesolithic Backed Bladelet / Microburin
Description
English: A backed bladelet, pinkish brown in colour, uni-facially retouched and expediently made.

The left margin of the dorsal face exhibits partial retouch of abrupt angle and is of edge type extent.

The form of this microlith lends itself to the idea that this may have been utilised as a burin.

Bond (2005) illustrates a similar example on p119, fig 5.103, 45 which dates to the Mesolithic.
