Español: Después del miércoles de ceniza, la comunidad de San Antonio de la Cal de Tolimán, Querétaro, lleva a cabo cada viernes un banquete al que pueden ir todas las personas que gusten. El banquete es organizado por los mayores de las imágenes que participan en semana santa.
Para llevar a cabo la mesa de forma apropiada, es necesario poner un petate en el suelo para posteriormente poner encima manteles, las personas que lleguen a la cena se sentarán a los lados en unas tablas de madera puestas sobre tabiques. El banquete inicia cuando empiezan a tirar las tortillas de colores en los manteles (con personas previamente organizadas para servir los alimentos), después a cada persona que va se le un plato de comida que según la organización, puede llegar a servirse hasta seis veces a cada persona. La comida regularmente no se come ahí, es para llevar a casa. Los asistentes van preparados con cubetas de 4 hasta 20 litros. Al final se regala agua para quien guste, y cada asistente lleva su recipiente para que se le sirva. No importa si la persona pertenece o no a la comunidad, si llega al banquete se le dará un lugar o en caso de que no haya lugar, se agranda la mesa. |
