Description
Deutsch: Plakat für das Mechanische Theater Merveilleux, Farblitho 57 x 77 cm, Adolph Friedländer Nr. 0294, 1891 oder 1892 Das Mechanische Theater (Inh. Wilhelm Hartjens) bestand von etwa 1840 bis 1900 in Bremen, ging auch auf Tournee. Seine meisten Figuren bestehen aus Metall und sind flach, beidseitig bemalt. Die von Hartjens angefertigten Figuren wurden über einen Zahnradantrieb bewegt.
