Description

An 1887 photograph of an Empire tableau in the Old Town Hall Theatre, Harrogate, England.

The same building now holds the Mercer Art Gallery, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. It was originally built in 1805 as the Promenade Rooms. Before 1882 it was the Town Hall, then the Old Town Hall Theatre.
