Mercedes Jones Tape Sculpture from Ted Metz Intro. to Sculpture class.

Materials used: packing tape, blanket, scarves, yarn, found objects

The placement and location of the sculpture (in the Children's section, second floor) is representative of the comfort that Mercedes has felt as a child in libraries. The objects around the figure symbolize different people that she has met through libraries.
