Description

Mercedes Econic and DAF CF winter maintenance vehicles operated by Scotland Transerv for the North West trunk roads contract.

Both vehicles are equipped with ploughs and salt spreaders with brine tanks for pre-wetting, but the 8x4 DAF also has a tank carrying ethylene glycol which is used de-icing on bridges instead of rock salt.
