Description

Halloween is being spent driving from Salzburg to Venice over the Brenner Pass. Here, I am taking a rest stop in Innsbruck, at the northern entry to the Brenner Pass.

For the drive, I started with the Sound of Music soundtrack as the driving music. But by the time I approached Innsbruck, I had switched over to a modern-day California singer-songwriter, Anna Nalick. I had met her in Los Angeles in 2006, and the autographed CD from that meeting was brought over to Europe for the drive. Of course, at this time in 2009, Anna was in the midst of a forced hiatus, and I could only wonder what had happened to her. Though by September 2010, Anna was back in action, I met her again, and told her about the beautiful drive set to her music - and how much I had missed her.
