Français : Le menhir de la Pierre Attelée, en grès quartzeux, s'élève à 2.90 m au- dessus du sol; sa largeur est de 1,40m, son épaisseur est de 1m. Il semble profondément enfoui dans le sable. Le monument fut christianisé par l'installation d'une croix aujourd'hui disparue, dont le socle maçonné était visible à la fin du XIXième siècle. Chaque printemps, il était couronné de fleurs lors d'une procession qui venait l'honorer. Quant à l'origine du nom, on raconte qu'un propriétaire, voulant déplacer cet cette pierre encombrante, attela six paires de boeufs pour la faire choir. Malgré la puissance de l'attelage, ce fut un échec...et le début d'une succession de malheurs pour l'homme qui mourru dans l'annnée. |
