Description
English: SUKABUMI, WEST JAVA, INDONESIA - NOVEMBER 29: A baby javan gibbon (Hylobates moloch) foraging in a tree, at National Parks Gede Pangrango, Bodogol, in Sukabumi, West Java, Indonesia, on November 29, 2015. Javan Gibbon Foundation says, The species lives exclusively on the small island of Java in Indonesia, estimated to be only 400-500 living the wild and a total of 14 groups, as a result of 98 per cent of their habitat being destroyed by development. Javan gibbon which is a species endemic to West Java, is now endangered due to poaching and illegal trade.
