Description
Bahasa Melayu: Menara Komtar merupakan menara komersial terawal di Malaysia yang terletak di Pulau Pinang. Ia merupakan menara yang tertinggi di Pulau Pinang dan ketujuh tertinggi di Malaysia. Tapak asal di menara komtar adalah sebuah bangunan sekolah agama yang sangat terkenal dan di antara yang tertua di Malaysia. pada penghujung tahun 1978, pembinaa menara komtar dijalankan di atas bekas tapak sekolah ini. Sekolah yang dimaksudkan adalah Sek. Men. Keb. Agama Al-Mashoor. rekabentuk menara komtar ini adalah 12 segi dan ketinggiannya adalah 65 tingkat. Menara ini juga menempatkan ruang pejabat bagi urusan pentadbiran di Pulau Pinang.
