Photograph of two men in a small boat in Marble Canyon, Colorado River, ca.1898.
They are dwarfed by the towering nearly-vertical rocky canyon walls which loom over the placid river. The canyon rim is visible far above. A sandy shoal forms the shore on one side of the river.
