The stained-glass window is in the memory of the honourable Julian Berry, who was commanding officer of The Royal Horse Guards ("The Blues"). He lived in Tunworth Old Rectory (a stone's throw away for someone with an athletic arm), which is the house clearly shown at the bottom of the two central panels. The Old Rectory in 2010 is here: 1759193, while the exterior of Tunworth church (showing this window from the outside) is here: 1759104 |
