English: Memorial to the 9th Earl of Coventry The 9th Earl of Coventry inherited the title at the age of 5 in 1843 and lived to be 91 and died on 13 March 1930. He was the longest serving member of the House of Lords and was Father of the House when he died. Blanche, his wife, died just three days after her husband.
