Español: Monumento conmemorativo dedicado a los profesionales del trabajo social por su labor durante la pandemia de la COVID-19, frente a la Facultad de Estudios Sociales y del Trabajo, campus de Teatinos, Málaga, España. El monumento consta de una escultura, obra del artista José Luis Martín García, que representa una rueda de engranaje simbolizando el trabajo en equipo, una mano que sugiere acompañamiento y una rama de laurel que denota esperanza, tres símbolos que integran el logotipo del trabajo social. La escultura se encuentra sobre un pedestal de cemento en cuya cara frontal se sitúa una placa donde se lee la siguiente inscripción: «En agradecimiento a las personas profesionales / del Trabajo Social por su compromiso con la ciudadanía / ante el impacto social de la COVID-19. / Inaugurado por D. José Ángel Narváez Bueno. / Rector de la Universidad de Málaga. / Escultura de José Luis Martín García / En Málaga, a 16 de marzo de 2021».[1] |
