Description
English: A memorial plaque to Baron Bedros Aved Setian (28 January 1812 – 6 September 1886) in the Armenian Church, Singapore. The Armenian inscription, translated into English reads: "With the meritorious efforts of the Armenian public / This monument is consecrated in the memory of / the most honourable, hard-working / Baron (Mr.) Bedros Aved Setian, / who faithfully and with devotional zeal / served as the Chairman of the Board Council of the / Armenian Apostolic Church of Saint Gregory the Illuminator in / Singapore. / Left for Hong Kong, where he was deceased. / 'The memory of the meritorious / shall be remembered with blessings.' / Born in Madras (India), on January 28th, 1812. / Deceased in Hong Kong, on June 9th, 1886."
