The engines of the tug Clyde constructed for the Clyde Navigation Trust by Messrs A & J Inglis, Glasgow, 1851. Designed by The late Andrew Brown Esq, Provost of Renfrew for 16 years Presented to the town of Renfrew by William Brown Esq M.I.C.E.

in memory of his father.
