f the second part, the receipt whereof ishereby acknowledged, does promise and agree to grade thegrounds surrounding the memorial, and known as the TownGreen, and particularly that part thereof which lies in frontof the church and the old Town Hall, which is located on theopposite side of the roadway, and to cause the same to be seededand a lawn made, and to lay a new cement walk from the entranceof the church to the macadam roadway; said work to be done atthe expense of the said First Ecclesiastical Society, and out ofmoneys other than said sum of fifteen hundred dollars ($1500),or any part thereof, or the interest thereon. And the said First Ecclesiastical Society further agrees,in consideration of said sum of $1500, to hold said sum of $1500as a fund, in trust, to be known as The Alden Freeman Fund,and to invest it according to the laws of the State of Connecti- 198 cr _ito Z) C 5 2 a- &> o* ST < 3 t C
