Summary

[edit]
Description
English:  : János Kisvárdai memorial by József Szurcsik (2014 Steel, three meteer high, welded)- Csillag Street, Kisvárda, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, Hungary.
Magyar:  : Kisvárdai János emlékszobra (Szurcsik József, 2014, három méter magas, acél talpazat, hegesztett) Kisvárdai János, a magyar zenetörténetben kiemelkedő jelentőségű forrásnak és a módszer alkalmazója és oktatója volt. Az alkotást tagoló rusztikus felületű, ritmikus mezők kottalapokra utaló játékos “pöttyögetés” borítja. Ezeken a lapokon megjelennek több helyen a szobor felületébe vájt hangjegyek. Kisvárdai János többek között az emberi tenyéren jelölhető hangírását alkalmazta. Ezt írja le diákja Szalkai László, későbbi főkancellár és érsek 1490-ben. Ebben a Szalkai – kódex néven ismertté vált könyv zenei tananyagot bemutató fejezetében található Magyarországon elsőként, a ma is használatos öt vonalas kotta, és előjegyzés rendszere.
