| Description |
English: Memorial To Rick Rescorla Rick Rescorla was born in Hayle in 1939 and died in the attack on the World Trade Centre in New York on September 11th 2001. At the time of the attack he was employed as security chief for one of the companies in the World Trade Centre. He had the foresight to realise the possibility of such an attack and had drilled the company staff in regular evacuation exercises. For that, and for his actions on the day of the attack he is credited as having saved over 2700 lives. |
