Institutions of Physick, with Hippocrates's Aphorisms largely Commented upon. The marrow of physick, Shewing the Causes, Signs, and Cures of most Diseases incident to Humane Bodies. Choice Experienc'd Receipts for the Cure of Several Distempers. The sixth edition, enlarg'd with many additions. Illustrated in its several parts with 12 copper cutts. By the Late Eminent Dr James Cooke, of Warwick, Practitioner in Physick and Chirurgery Revis'd, Corrected, and Purg'd from many Faults that escap'd in the former Editions, by Tho. Gibson, M. D. and Fellow of the College of Physicians in London. Licens'd by the said College of Physicians and fitted for the Use of all Sea-Surgeons.
