Summary
[edit]DescriptionMelinis repens habit5 (7185575389).jpg | Introduced, warm-season, annual or short-lived perennial, loosely tufted and hairy grass to 1.2 m tall. Stems often root at the lower nodes. A native of Africa, it was possibly introduced as a pasture species, but now only naturalised on roadsides and in wastelands. Rarely occurs in paddocks, except if badly degraded and little grazed. |
