Description
English: A number of people carried out the Melasti procession at Kuta Beach Bali. The self-purification ceremony was to welcome Nyepi holiday by all Hindus in Bali. It was held on the seashore with the aim of purifying themselves from all bad deeds in the past and throwing them into the sea. In Hindu belief, water sources such as lakes, and seas are considered as living water.
