Summary

[edit]
Description

English: The tower was built 1,010.7 meter above sea level and is about 10 meter high. It is built from stone, the viewing platform is made from wood. It is near the top of the mountain Mehliskopf

The Tower was built in the year 1880 - this is mentioned in the cornerstone above the entrance door. Thus it is the oldest stone viewing tower in the northern parts of the Black Forrest. The tower was reconditioned in 1900 (cornerstone) and renovated in 1999 (inscription in stone).

You may climb up the tower between May and October, in winter time the door is locked.
