Description
Українська: Розкопки стоянки нижнього палеоліту на околиці села Меджибіж Летичівського району Хмельницької області України, які проводились у серпні 2016 року археологами Вадимом Степанчуком та Віктором Вєтровим. У Меджибожі знаходиться найсхідніше в Європі науково зафіксоване місце знаходження людини доби палеоліту (понад 400 тисяч років).

Вадим Степанчук – доктор історичних наук, професор, провідний науковий співробітник відділу кам’яної доби Інституту археології Національної академії наук України.

Віктор Вєтров – історик та археолог-палеонтолог, старший науковий співробітник Державного історико - культурний заповідник "Межибіж"
English: Excavations of part of the site of Lower Paleolithic settlement in the outskirts of town of Medzhybizh in Khmelnytskiy region in Ukraine which were carried out by archeologists Vadym Stepanchuk and Victor Vetrov in August of year of 2016. Medzhybizh is the farthest in Eastern Europe location where the presence of a human of Paleolithic age was securely fixed by the scientists (more than 400 000 years B.C.). Vadym Stepanchuk is the Doctor of History Science, professor, paleontologist, key research fellow of Stone Age Department of the Institute of Archeology of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Victor Vetrov is the historian and archeologist specialized in paleontology, senior research fellow working in State historical and cultural preserve “Medzhybizh”
