Title
Medium-sized rim sherd of Samian ware vessel
Description
English: Medium-sized rim sherd of a Roman Samian ware vessel dating from c. AD43-200. The sherd is in good condition with most of the shiny red slip still surviving on both the in- and the outside. Almost none of the decoration in the ornament fields survive except for a small area at the bottom of the sherd. The breaks are very crusty, but there seems to be remains of a small lead repair in one of the sides.
