English: RSD-10 Pioneer (or Medium-Range Missile "Pioneer", its NATO reporting name: SS-20 Saber) at the National Open-air Museum of the Great Patriotic War in Kiev, Ukraine. It was an intermediate-range ballistic missile with a nuclear warhead deployed by the Soviet Union from 1976 to 1988. It carried GRAU designation 15Zh45 and was withdrawn from service under the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty.
Deutsch: RSD-10 am Freilichtmuseum des Großen Vaterländischen Krieges, Kiew, Ukraine. Die RSD-10 Pioner (russisch РСД-10 Пионер) war eine sowjetische mobile ballistische Mittelstreckenrakete zum Transport von nuklearen Gefechtsköpfen. Sie konnte einen 1-Megatonnen-Sprengkopf (entsprechend 75 Hiroshima-Bomben) je nach Modell zwischen 600 und 5000 km weit befördern. Spätere Modelle waren auch fähig, bis zu 3 MIRV-Sprengköpfe zu je 150 Kilotonnen zu transportieren. Im GRAU-Index trugen ihre Versionen die Bezeichnungen 15Ж45 (15Sch45), 15Ж45-УТТХ (15Sch45-UTTCh) und 15Ж53 (15Sch53).
