[edit]DescriptionMedina Gazette, on the Event of Grant's Death, pg3, 8,11,1885.jpg |
English: This is a small town newspaper from Medina Ohio which was handed down to me from my great, great, great, great grandfather, J.H.Greene who was the owner and editor of the same.
The occasion of this particular printing was the death of Gen. U.S.Grant, dated Tuesday, August 11 1885. There was a local ceremony in Medina, presided over by H.G.Blake, to mourn and remember Gen. Grant at which J.H.Greene was one of the speakers. |
