Title
medievalcopperalloyasymmetricalbuckle
Description
English: Copper alloy cast double loop asymmetrical buckle, late medieval to early post medieval in date (c AD1350-1650). The two loops are D-shaped in plan, curving inwards towards a narrowed central strap bar. The pin is missing. The frame is plain and undecorated. The bar has slight corrosion, possibly the remnants of where the pin once rested. The object has a light green patina. It is probably a shoe or knee buckle.
