Title
Medieval vessel: Ewer leg
Description
English: An incomplete leg from a cast copper alloy vessel of the post-medieval period. The leg fragment consists of part of the vessel's body and the upper part of the leg which is roughly circular in cross section. This vessel leg is probably from an ewer, and although this is only a fragment, it is likely to date from the 14th or 15th century AD when these vessels were most popular.
