Medieval to post-Medieval double-oval buckle
Description
English: A Late Medieval to early post-Medieval copper-alloy double-oval buckle.

The symmetrical frame has two 'D-shaped' sides, the wide, downward-sloping upper surface of which retains traces of a cast pattern. The central axis bar is of oval section. The pin is missing. The buckle measures 30.6mm long, 19.5mm wide, 2.2mm thick and weighs 3.5g.
