Medieval to post-Medieval double-oval buckle
Description
English: A copper-alloy double-oval buckle of Late Medieval to early post-Medieval date.

The symmetrical buckle has two 'D-shaped' sides with steep inner edges and convex, downward-sloping upper surfaces. The central axis bar is of sub-triangular section and has adhering iron corrosion from the otherwise missing pin. The underside of the buckle is flat.

The buckle measures 31mm long, 26.9mm wide and 2.8mm thick. The weight is 6.13g.
