Medieval to post-Medieval double-oval buckle
Description
English: A copper-alloy double-oval buckle of probable Late Medieval to early post-Medieval date.

The frame is symmetrical, having two 'D-shaped' sides. The inner edges are vertical and the upper surface slopes downwards and outwards. The central axis bar is triangular in section, has a simple moulding at each end and is missing its pin. The buckle's underside is flat. The object measures 29.6mm long, 16.5mm wide and 1.8mm thick. It weighs 2.22g.
